Prague, 10 June 2026: Yesterday’s event at the Prague Planetarium brought major news – Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda is officially heading to the ISS in 2027 thanks to a newly signed agreement. Our CEO, Richard Sysala, was honored to be there.
The strategic importance of this step was highlighted by Jaromír Zůna, Minister of Defence of the Czech Republic: “This mission confirms that the Czech Republic has the expertise, talent, and determination to contribute to the most advanced international projects of our time. We see this not only as an investment in one mission, but in the future of our country.”
This future is already taking shape, as Aleš will personally carry 13 unique Czech experiments aboard the ISS. This event holds extraordinary significance for us, and we are proud that our company is involved in one of these experiments.
