Join our team in Prague, Czech Republic, as Embedded and Aerospace Software Developer! We work with customers like the European Space Agency and other space industry leaders. esc Aerospace is currently extending our team and looking for support in programming software for satellite on-board computers, instruments like radiation monitors and UAV/drone flight systems. Your scope would range from requirement analysis, software design with modelling tools, implementation, integration with the system hardware, documentation and testing.
Specific tasks include:
- critical software development in C language
- cooperation with the satellite SW/HW team on systematic concerns
- definition of software architecture and description functional blocks
- using proficient testing methods and tools, preferably in Python
- responsibility for testing software as part of its development or maintenance, including test approach definition, documentation, test design and preparation, automated tests development and maintenance, testing itself and reporting
- maintain complete software and framework documentation
- validation of new features in-house, together with software product owners
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- comprehensive software development experience
- fluent communication skills in written and spoken English
- knowledge and skills in software modelling methods & tools
- knowledge and skills in software testing methods & tools
- works independently
- scripting various integration tests and tools in Python
- curiosity, exploratory skills, attention to details
- willingness to travel
