PRAGUE, January 27th, 2026 – Within the framework of the prestigious international conference “Bridging the Gap: Central Europe’s Silicon Future,” organized by the CEIAS institute in cooperation with the CHIPDIPLO project partners, Richard Sysala, CEO of ESC Aerospace, appeared as a keynote speaker.
The conference has been focused on strengthening the European semiconductor industry and enhancing its resilience against geopolitical risks. Richard Sysala participated in the panel discussion titled “Serving Europe’s Strategic Sectors,” where he addressed the critical role of semiconductors in maintaining technological sovereignty in our Space and Defence domain.
The CHIPDIPLO project unites leading analytical centers and policy institutes (including Institut Montaigne and CEIAS) to provide the European Commission with the necessary framework for managing geopolitical risks in technology. Simultaneously, it aims to strengthen the resilience of the European semiconductor market against global disruptions by fostering collaboration between the private sector and research institutions.
